263 Surfboards

During my time at Mencel Surfboards, I was given the creative freedom to develop my own line of surfboards, which became 263 Surfboards, named after my grandfather’s NYSE badge number, 263. This project was a way to merge my craftsmanship with personal meaning, honoring my family’s history while pushing my own skills.

Designing my own boards was a hands-on process from start to finish. I shaped, glassed, sanded, and refined each board, focusing on both performance and aesthetics. Along the way, I experimented with airbrushing, resin tints, and custom logos to create a unique style that set 263 Surfboards apart.

While this project has slowed down during my time at college, it is still not over, and when I have time I enjoy shaping my own surfboards or shaping them for friends and other customers. Here are some customs that I made 100% start to finish.
